coincidence?
All bullshit aside, it is a little difficult to overlook all the funny “coincidences” that have happened to me that have given me just what I needed (more than what I could have wished for) or wanted at just the right time so many times in my life. What kind of truly reasonable person would deny that it takes some kind of pathological ungratefulness to deny the degree to which we are being babysat by this series of “coincidences”. The exacting conditions which must be met to keep earth the exact distance from the sun as to maintain the correct temperature to maintain life on this planet are so diligently maintained should astound even the most skeptical mind. I know, I know, these are merely meaningless coincidences in a chaotic universe in which any combination of conditions is possible. Maybe these are just a series of coincidences. Nevertheless, they deserve some observation at the very least. My wife counted 70 channels on television, 70 channels that on more than 15 occasions has failed to yield even one program with something that added to me. When I say “added to me”, I mean that if one examined the intentions that shine through each program, one would find that the people who put these shows on were only trying to either illicit a negative emotional response, or money from us, the viewers. If the ends justify the means, or on the flip side of the coin, the ends shed light on the intentions behind the means, then the fact that we are living in a place tailored to our biological needs sheds light on the intentions of these “coincidences”. Any skeptic is basically trying to look behind the veil to get at the intentions of the joker who is standing in front of him. If this skeptic was to look closely at the effects of these coincidences, he would have to conclude that this chaos yielded an extremely rare gem in leaving these very conditions in place for so long as to allow these autonomous beings to develop.
gods have a time-space allergy
We are all only trained to believe that we want success, material wealth, recognition, etc., by people who want to manipulate us into acting as they want. Any type of human interaction that takes place in which one of the parties gets increasingly less tangible (their physical presence on the time/space plane of reality is less and less required), and the other gets put in an increasingly more tangible (their physical presence in the time/space plane of reality is more and more required). The people who are getting what their will desires know that there are other people out there who want the same thing, and there is a rabid competition to get it. This it is the freedom to exert pressure from the outside, and as a result of this pressure are able to live in this world as they would in their imaginations. These are the rich people, the ones who buy and sell other people’s work, give them wholesale price and keep the retail for the risk that they imposed on someone else. There is an invisible war going on for the ability to write your own destiny, and the knights are the lawyers, researchers and engineers, and the nobles are the ceo’s, the kings are the stockholders who are living above the fray. The real name of the game of capitalism is to be able to do whatever you want whenever you want, and to have whatever makes you happy at the moment become reality at the snap of one’s fingers, in short, to be one’s own sovereign god over one’s self with as little effort as possible. Rich people keep people out of their business as much as possible, because they would like you to think that what they do is hard work. The truth is, if you have time to play golf at 2 pm on Tuesday afternoon, yet you expect others to work until 6 and you tell your workers that what you do is really none of their concern, just get back to work, one can begin to see ‘through the veil’ so to speak. The problem is that most of us have been so well manipulated that we believe ourselves unworthy of wanting to do whatever we want. As I write this I am feeling little pangs of guilt for even suggesting that I want to do whatever I want as if some people deserve to have their will be done and I don’t. We believe that good is evil and evil is good. Good is anything I say it is. Evil is anything I say it is. If I claim something to be good because someone else told me it was without understanding why, I cannot claim it as my good. Thus, I am lying to myself.
Everyone wants to be the fly on the wall, the house on the hill overlooking the coolest location. We watch everyone else move around while we look on like ghosts. “What are you looking at?”, yet we are sitting in the cafĂ© watching all the people go by like little voyeurs. We all want to look without being seen, sitting in our homes in our underwear while laughing at the guy in his underwear getting arrested on COPS. Everyone has a double standard, thinking we deserve one thing and everyone else deserves another. But this is all darkness and the stuff of beasts.
The kind of stuff that blows away with the wind after one dies.
